Would you please stop posting all these wonderfully painted LoA figures!
Somehow all these threads with these enticing LoA pictures are getting a bit hard to resist... really don't know why, I sure don't need them, but I get the feeling more and more that I do...

Cheers,
Rob

Watch it or I'll tell my wife! :Ph

On the other hand... they do look very nice... :-

And I was just trying to convince myself I should first paint all the stuff I have lying around! :'(

I tried that once...it didn't end well!  ;)

Tarty

Very nice. Think I'm in for this LoA action. Paint up what I've got lying around first  ;D

Apparently that is considered a rather odd notion by most here ;)

Yeah... who am I kidding here... (my wife hopefully!) :D
It's not really a question of whether I'll start anything new but more of WHAT! Maybe I should save up for the new Italian Unification troops; or...the Indian Mutiny; that sounds like a great range too! Or maybe start in the meanwhile with with some ACW... or... or... ~X( ~X( ~X(

Resistance Is Futile! Go on, buy the lot, you know you want to.

Tarty

I usually like to drag others into my "do I need more?" dilemma or "should finish what I've started first" .... voices in my head. Justification seems so much easier if you can rope in a few friends as well on a new project eh ?  :d

Absolutely! It is also very convenient when the awkward questions come up 'Why did you buy a whole new army? You still have so much lying around and you know we really need that new washing machine!'... 'yes but THEY said I really needed it and they are my friends... why would they ever lie to me? Then again; what good are clean clothes; they get dirty again anyway...'
Maybe just start with just a few small units... but what war or battle to start with...hmmm, let me think...

That was my plan, just buy a few Austrians to add to the Polish army so I could fight my Turks outside Vienna... Then I got them, saw the quality and was hooked. I have since bought several thousand, bought umpteen books I never knew I could not live without and produced lots flags for Leon :-)

My name is Ian and I am an addict  8)

Strange hobby  ;D ;D ;D

Tarty

Exactly !! I need the whole Bavarian army.... others have already committed. It's out of my hands.
