Being blessed to have a wife who has always understood my wanting to have a study, I have always had one. Usually just one of the spare bedrooms, but it has always been mine to decorate, do and enjoy as I wish. So I thought I'd see what others study's are like, or if they don't have one, maybe their hobby area.

I'll start by sharing a few pics of my current study, in the house we moved to recently after we downsized.  I can say that it has evolved over the years. I can also say I spend many hours of reading, researching and doing most of my figure cleaning and conversions in this room (on the floor in hte middle of the room). I also have a small painting room that is not quite so neat, but a painting area usually isn't. OK, here's my study

Behind those closet doors are more and more books, mostly on uniforms, and many of the paperbacks I've read.

I look forward to seeing what others have to share.

I have a  small table in the living room to paint on and occasional use of the dining table coupled with top cupboards crammed with enough lead and cardboard to constitute a health and safety hazard!

My house is too small to have a study. To be honest I think we were lucky the builders managed to find room for the toilet

I have no study, BUT when renovations are done, we will have 4 bedrooms while we only have two kids, so I'm 'guiding' my wife to a repurpose of that room.

very nice looking room and collection.

I'm afraid my painting space is a converted loft room, far too messy to photograph. I've also hobby items (part finished, or just in-storage) dotted throughout the house and the out-buildings. Whoops!
