When making such a big change to their terms and conditions, shouldn't we be informed and asked to accept those new conditions?

Really sad thing, a lot of posts on the forum are now picture-less...

I had a quick look at my PB account when I saw this.....It appears I've only used 1% of my total freebies.
(Mind you...I don't post many pics, do I ? :-[)

Just had a little visit to Photobucket. As far as I can make out I'm safe until some time in 2018, after which they want $399 a year to post to another site. To quote Big Bad Boris, they can go whistle! I'll either find another way or stop posting except on Faceache.

Sitting in work looking at various war-games related blogs in my break and photobucket has really screwed these blogs up.  I am repeatedly seing blogs and tutorial with  the photos showing how to do things replaced with the "Please upgrade your accounbt to allow Third party posting"

while I personally do not use photobucket it really p*sses me off, that they provide a free service and presumably make money from the advertising then when thay can screw everyone up they then introduce these charges.

Indeed, a lot of info/tutorials have dissapeared.

I can only imagine what happened to people who have an online store and used photobucket to store their pictures!

I can understand that if you are using Photobucket to support a business you should pay fore the service, but most people are not doing this

Well that's a point that can be argued.

Pb did list their service as 'free'. If you label it as such, you shouldn't 'lock' images that were put up under those conditions. I can understand switching to a paying service, but that should not lock out somebody who used it under the old conditions. Just apply it to all new images since the date of transition.
