Probably doesn't seem like much to show, but all of the base coats are done, which include the final shaping of the windows, adding the headlights and taillights, painting the police lights and the tailpipes.



All that's left to do now is paint in the doors, hood/bonnet, and trunk/boot, the flashing lights and the underside, and then apply the decals I've ordered.

Have to say I am really pleased with how it's turning out. I've got the figures cleaned to go with it, but I always sand them to remove any file marks and generally smooth the figure as a final step before gluing to the painting sticks and priming them, so hope to do all of that tomorrow.

OK, the painting is done, although I see a couple of things that need a quick touch, so no biggy. But here she is awaiting the decals, which should be arriving by the end of the week as I have been advised they are finished and in the mail.

I am very pleased with the results and can't wait to get the decals on her as I know they will really bring the model to life. I also tried something different for the windows and I am sorry you can't see them very well in this picture. But once finished I'll do some 360 pictures and you'll be able to see them better then. I'll also do some final pics when the basing is done as well.

Great work once again

Sorry, no update here yet. I am waiting on the decals to arrive as that is the next step. The gloss coat has been applied so an hour or two once I get he decals and she'll be ready to roll and bash the bad guys!

FYI, the decals were mailed last week, but with the holiday I'm pretty sure our local post office starts the holiday about 4 days before hand, and then they over fill our post office box when the holiday has passed! Oh well, my tax dollars at work, or is it at work some times!

Just a short update. I am excited to say the decals are here, and Kevin Hammond at Miscellaneous Miniatures really does amazing work. Consider that most of what I order is  in the 2 MM to 4 Mm size, but he gets them spot on every time! I'll be applying the decals to both the police cruiser and to the motorcycle, not later than tomorrow and hope to have pictures for you then, or Monday at the latest.

Looking good!

The police cruiser is finished. I put the decals on it and the motorcycle yesterday after church. Took a little over 3 hours as these are some tiny decals, some being only 2 MM in size. First cutting each on out, and then applying them and measuring to be sure the align with the one on the opposite side. Needless to say, some very tedious work! But I was listening to the Fury Road soundtrack and so it was enjoyable time for me - plus getting to see the vehicles finally look finished.





Here's all three Law vehicles together, but of course not based yet. I am thinking of basing them on a roughed up road/street with cracks, and holes and grass growing up in places, as it is post apocalyptic after all.



I'll post the motorcycle in the non-Pendraken area. Still can't wait to do the Road warrior vehicles!!!!
