I was wondering if it could be possible to do some Vickers/Lewis guns without any crews. The idea behind it was the possibility to mount them on all kinds of vehicles without hacking the crew away (which is not very satisfactory in some cases).
It could be extended for French/German/American/Russian HMGs as well.

.50 cal is already available BR39 only appears in the Brit list though I forgot it when I advised Leon what should be in the US list too.

Yep, useful.

The BR39 0.50 cal is only the gun - so is good for mounting on vehicles. But not if you want a tripod mounted one.

He said he wanted to mount it on vehicles!

most HMG would be good loose for many conversion opportunities

I know that doing separate MGs would be fiddly (Lord I know I wouldn't want to pack them  ) but could it be possible to do parapet types ie standing crew so they could be placed into vehicles , buildings, ships, whatever....

And while you're at it, can we please have a Volkssturm boy eating ice cream behind a pair of conifers? Oh, and a set of Russian stretcher bearers in the early 1941 Maryiinski Hospital emergency outfit - with flat caps, not peaked ones for God's sake, we all know that only the doctors wore those.

You're quite right - I was being silly, I was sure that World War 1 had trenches and that parapet types could be handy. My mistake. I'll have to write to the 20mm manufacturers and tell them to withdraw them immediately.

Definately a vote here for the Vickers/maxims and lewis without crew.
