(after she said she would make cup of tea for daughter-in-law, then continued talking for 'Five minutes')
Me "I'll make the tea then"
Her "You've done nothing since you've come home"
Me "I've been at work all day"
Her "I've been to Milton Keynes [with her sister]"
Me "You've been shopping and enjoying yourself"
Her "I had to drive there, and walk around for ages"

Ergo she has done three times as much as me.
