Might be over to the hospital again this evening, for more fun and games.

Went to use one of the catheters this afto'.......Wouldn't go in to the bladder.....Lots of thick blood came out instead.
Been down to the local surgery.....Just caught them before they went home.

One of the Doc's has put a 'permanent' catheter in........ attached to a bag.......But if I don't produce any wee into the bag by 9 o'clock, it's back over to the hospital again.
I'm SO happy.

May see you later.....Maybe awol for a few days again.

Just watch out for early signs of water infections. I believe drinking Cranberry juice helps flush things - though it is not recommended for Warfarin users.

We're off to the hospital in the next few minutes.

I am passing some urine.........(I think)....But it's masked by all the blood that's in the bag......

Meanwhile, to lighten the mood: many years ago when my dodgy kidney was being sorted out, in a truly marvellous case of nominative determinism my urologist was called Mr Dick! 

Just spoken to Von - she's off to get Phil from the hospital.

I'm sure he'll regail us with all the gory details later - they've probably fitted him with a tap!
