Playing this for the 3rd time now, but first time with the entire lists (you only get limited lists with the free version, so i bought the book at crisis)

Goblins VS undead

goblin army: mawbeast pack (squigs), archer regiment, shaman, spear legion, flag bearer, rabble regiment, giant, and a catapult and 10 wolf riders at the end of the line.

undead army: revenant cavalry regiment, skeleton regimen, flag bearer, zombie legion, necromancer, revenant regiment, Lykanis behind the trees and ghoul regiment at the end of the line.

Scenario is nr 6: pillage and kill!

I'll try, but the undead are too careless to adhere to the rule, and the goblins probably too stupid to remember it!   ;D ;D ;D

Turn 5 and we have a proper scrap in the middle!

Undead have only lost the revenant infantry, goblins have lost their wolf riders, mawbeasts and rock lobber!

Undead win controlling 3 objectives! 780 points against 480 points.

While there was still a brawl in the middle, the flanks were clear of goblins, and i decided to keep some units sitting oon the objectives.

Otherwise an enjoyable and pretty balanced game, No difference in kill points (objectives  are 100 points each)

The goblins lost it on their last roll. The spear-armed legion had a mere 8 hits out of 35 attacks!!!

Had they been able to wipe out the cavalry they could have claimed 120 extra killpoints + two objectives, giving them  a total of 800 points. But the cavalry are routed on 17, and with their abysmal rolling they only got to a 16 when testing the undead's nerve. Just one more hit on that regiment and they would have won! tense game untill the end.

Excellent looking game.

Yes did their job very well! Decided to pull my legions in between them to guard my flanks. Otherwise those knights would have crushed them.

Must say I'm a fan of their games. Some of their models are a bit sketchy, but that doesn't bother me. I have enough warhammer models for 4 1000 point armies so I'm good for a while. Just happy to get them on the table again after years of gathering dust.KOW is just the game to do that. Fast play and pretty equal chances. In all the games I played there never was anything overpowered enough to be broken.

Sure your skeletal knights make short work of goblin archers and all, but that's what they cme to do. Have charged them into a unit of boarboyz before and had a pretty even scrap!
