2016 deaths and climbing

Sad as all these deaths are, can someone who has only touched my life with great music, art, literature or whatever be truly said to be dead, when they still stir my emotions each time I hear or see what touched me in the fist place?

One of only two groups that I've seen more than once ! (Saw the 'original' Quo in the 70's...They were awesome.....And VERY loud.)
What a totally cruddy year for losing so many of my 'heroes'.

Having just got through an ELP week, plus, since the death of Greg Lake.......I wonder what I'll be listening to next week.

That is sad news ... I attribute my sore neck to all that 'head bangin' so many years ago. They were a group that stood out just for being nice guys a much as for their 'happy' style music ... they even got mums rockin'

Me too! Saw them at the Apollo in Glasgow. Remember "head banging," too - even though we had 'short' hairstyles compared to the band!  ;D  #-o

Mrs W. has also just shown me a photograph of one of her pals who was a dancer at the time (1975) presenting Rick with some award.  :o
She went on to become a Head Teacher before retiring early as some highly paid education executive. Didn't know that before tonight!  :o
