I prepared the last of the the Crusader figures; a couple of Turcopoles and 52 pilgrims, they're now waiting for space on the painting rods

I moved the dismounted knights, Syrian bowmen, and mounted knights off my painting rods
Unfortunately while moving the Syrian bowmen one of them broke at the ankles that element will now have 5 rather than 6 bowmen

This made room for the last of the the Crusader figures; a couple of Turcopoles and 52 pilgrims

I managed to quickly undercoat them during a break in the weather

It is now raining again

Hopefully I will get to do a major basing session tomorrow

He could always be a casualty

Bit of filler, splodge him in it, wading through muddy bit, job done

Spot of modelling putty, splodge him in it, scrap of flock or sprinkle of static grass and he's walking through vegetation. So many options

Interesting suggestions, he is in the 'classic' archer firing pose so might look a bit strange as a casualty, I'll have a look

Two and a half hours of basing got 17 elements based
We had to go out so I ran out of time to do the remaining 4 elements
