Hi,

I had been lurking this section for sometime (years?) but I had another threat elsewhere in the forum where I used to show my pendraken figures. Finally tonite I decide to join you in this Painting Diaries format of sharing the hobby. I will keep an update of what I am painting (mostly 10mm), but I am not painting only Pendraken. If there is a problem with that, please moderator, just tell me about.

Now I have 3 projects open... well I could say, as a wargamer I had a looot of projects going on in parallel, but I resolved this conflict when my wife bought me a little drawer of 5 slots. So I decide I can only work in 5 main projects at once, and... of course I need to finish one of the five if I want to enter a new one... so that is good because: first I minimize my projects (or split them in little projects) and second this keep me motivate to finish them....

So nowdays I have:

- Ottoman Turks. - As I already have an araby army I am not going to a big force for turks, just some main units characterfull of the army and I will reuse my dark ages figures to the bulk of the army.

- Baba Yaga and critters of the dark forest: - That is a project of an small army based in forces of the nature and the evilness of Baba Yaga. Have some bats, a giant, some goblins on wolfs, some treemen, etc.... I would like to give a touch of russian flavour. In fact this project is a little bit stuck. And I already split some figures for other projects so... it is not now my main target... but hey once you have a drawer in my little furniture-of-projects there is no turning back!

- Homeric Greek, Myceanan - This army is compose with mycean and troy. So they could work as an army to face hittites, act as sea people and fight egyptians, or even rise theirs bonze swords against the Assyrians. They could even fight themselvesr spliting the figures in mycean units  vs troy units for a small siege game. I painted more myceanan than troy units.


and now the units I had painted in September so far:



A unit of Dellis, savage tartars, mads and dangerous. They act as scouts for the Turk army, causing terror and damage in enemy territory



A unit of Jenizzars. Slave child grew up as warriors in the Faith. They use to be in the hotspot of the battle.



A unit of Azabs, turks soldiers for the provinces of the Half Moon Empire. This unit come from Anatolia and you could see they are volunteers soldiers by his colourful and rich clothes



A unit of Myceanan chariots lead by Menelaus in chariot.



At last a character, it is a Mage. I convert it for the game of this summer "The lonly cabin". It has intended to be the Mage in the Castle/lcabin, but I did not finish it at time. They could be also a nice addition to a fantasy turkish/thousend nights/arabian army, as a celestial sorceror or a Moon warlock

and now Kapiculu (slaves of the gate), they are an elite regiment of sipahi (free man turk cavalry). They wear the red headgear of the Kapicu

Another advance in Ottoman empire

Silhidars, bodyguards of the sultan. Each warrior of this regiment is not afraid to die, in fact they are survivors of sucidial missions.

Ten units and some characters, I am satisfy. I hope on October finish the Turkish project and maybe even I could finish mycean army.

I am running out bases, so I put a Pendraken order. Also primer and persian inmortals.
