I was wondering if these was any difference in these figures? I bought both packs and while the figures are lovely I can not seem to see a difference between poses in each pack? I don't mind I think the figures are fantastic just wondering if its my eyes a mix up in packing the codes or if they are the same?

The differences are subtle.

Check for difference in the gear they are carrying, beards and other facial hair, straps on the backpack etc...

They look the same at first but there is a difference!

Best example of this is in acw 3 and 4, in the first one, loading figure has no beard, second pack there is a beard

picture to show the difference in my example above

1: has backpack, 2 has  normal pants 3 has backpack 4 loading with clean shaved face

1 loading with beard  2 same as above without back pack  3 no backpack but roll 4 puttees over pants?

That's the kind of difference. I do remember the difference being harder to spot in the advancing poses!

Had a look at my painted ones, and i can spot two of the differences:

Second model has a big moustache, should not have one on the similar pose from acw2, and 1st model i have with backpack and with roll. ANd there is one with a cup hanging from its gear and one without, but cant see the backside on this picture so don't know wich one it is

Thanks all will have to take a closer look. Now got to finish my Confederates so I can start on these beauties!!! Can't recommend the Civil War range enough fantastic figures.

As the guys have said above, the differences are mainly blanket rolls, extra pouches, backpacks, beards, etc.  Small changes, but enough to give some nice variation in your units.
