Anyway I was given a pile of 15mm French and Indian troops..including 2 ensigns..... what flags would they have  eg regimental colours and.....
Not sure what the second would be... totally new period for me so in the dark. I will be choosing La Sarre regiment as I quite like the flag :)

Actually, and I kid you not, a white st George style cross stitched onto a white field!

Course it's actually "silver", and stitched on with grey thread.

There were only so many regiments assigned to the colonies,
I deploy
Artois; Bearn; Bourgogne; Languedoc; Guyenne; Le Reine; Le Serre; Rousillon

As others have said 2 flags per, a kings colour and a regimental one - often the battalions in America were 2nd battalions, I think this means that they should have no kings colour (I may be wrong).

However I turn a blind eye to a lot of reality - for instance each of my regiments has a second command stand which I use either to split the unit in two (different rules) or insert into a militia unit as if each was paired with a parent regular (do this for both sides - it's economic)

I've used PD flags, which are on the large size - you can probably use them for 15mm, in either case they come with decent info on the flags to use, so almost worth the purchase for that info.

Cheers guys... I think I may be able to paint a white flag...I saw one unit the Quebec Bougouisis militia with the white flag withe the white cross on it. :)
