As I said when I started the thread "Imperial Romans vs New Kingdom Egyptians be like -"

It was intended as a jokey comment about Ancients competitions where armies from areas thousands of miles and thousands of years apart meet each other.

This in a hobby where people can't field this figure or that from later periods because the hat brim is a millimetre too small, the turnbacks are a mill too long or the cockade marginally the wrong shape.

I am simultaneously amused and bemused by all of this.
