Birdy McBirdface has been suggested as the name for a new Albatross at the colony near Dunedin, apparently the chick is too Royal for that name ;D

I will admit that was a genuine error, that thankfully I did spot (surprisingly, given my history of putting my foot in it!).

I hope they don't christen seabirds the same way that they do boats ... by walloping them with a bottle of champagne. I think the SPCA would have something to say about that.
