My friend uses it as a basing material, so he wants his to match his other armies. Not my chosen method, but panted and flocked looks alright.

Thanks Will

Take care

Assembled the Zvezda I-16 kit and very nice it is too :). Also nearly finished a 1/180 Viking longship from SMER, which is ok but not a great kit. I've simplified it even more to make it more of a wargame piece.

Let's have a dekko....
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

Never heard that expression before outside Merseyside.

Techno

Must admit, I thought that was a relatively common word/'expression' throughout the whole of the UK.  :-\
Certainly used on occasions 'darn Sarf', when I used to live there.

Folk may have picked it up from something like the Liverbirds ?

Having said that......Haven't heard it used for years, now......Not sure if I ever heard it used in Nottingham and the surrounding area.

Cheers - Phil.

Nosher

I've spent pretty much the last month (when not working) making progress on various projects.

10mm ECW Royalists I've had for far too long for Baroque, rebasing loads of 15mm AWI for Sharpe Practice and painted two skirmish units for AWI.

In between this I've managed a club game of CoC and a few solo games.

Hoping to get in a solo BBB FPW game sometime soon.
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Dekko

It's origin is from the Hindi dekho 'look!', the imperative of dekhnā. Introduced in the Late 19th century via the British Army in India.

I'd love to say "any fule kno this" but I actually only came across it about a week ago as the answer to a quiz question. Synchronicity  :)

Occasionally said by folks in Fife When I was a child but decades since I've heard it used.

Proof that FK's use of English belongs to the previous millennium? ;)

Didn't "dekko" appear regularly in Commando comics?
