Some pictures of the Indian WW1 10 pdr mountain gun battery that I finally got time to base for our ANZAC game next week....they're from Pendraken's NW Frontier range.

Nicely painted figures and labels by Paulr..... guns and terrain and bases by me....enjoy  :)

Amazing...the pictures work using BBS code  8)

I like those a lot!

fsn may wonder where the mules are to haul those rocks around with the unit though :)

Well, of course, it's not for me to say, but yes, one does wonder.  :P

Perhaps the mules that carry the guns work in relays ;)

While I have inspiration (and an extra day off since its ANZAC day today) I took some pics of some more stuff that I've finished doing.....yes I was up early and we went to the local ANZAC day parade this morning.... I always make the effort to go along and remember those who served.

Added some more flock to the backs of the 10pdr mountain gun battery bases - l think they look a lot better.

Added FPW standard bearers and suitable flags (from PNFL71 flagsheet) to three German infantry battalion command bases and the Jager battalion command stand - They look the part and there is evidence that colours were carried in the opening days of the German advance into Belgium.

Added some Heavy Metal for the two armies -Divisional level 60pdr battery for the BEF and 150mm battery for the Germans - I'm very pleased with how these turned out.

Next up - MMG battery, some Rolls Royce armoured cars and some other Mechanical Transport items (trucks to you  ;))

Thanks.....pretty pleased with how they all turned out.

I took the pictures outside while we still have decent weather here.

The mountain guns should receive their baptism of fire next week, while I have the beginnings of a suitable scenario for the other stuff, including the A/C's, MMG Bty and trucks worked out for sometime later in the year.

Cheers
Peter
