A quick post on the 10 / 12mm Minifigs version versus the 1/144 Panzer Depot model. I have finally decided which one to go with so thought I would share my decision

why not use the Pendraken T28 SV32 http://www.pendraken.co.uk/SV32-p4555/

That's what I thought. Now a T35, that's another matter. Or if you can point the way to a Vickers Independent. ;D.

In most cases Pendraken are noticeably smaller than 1/144 and since I got a load of 1/144 vehicles before I came across Pendraken I tend to use other makes for larger vehicles to match sizes better. Although it is not always the case as my Pendraken JS3s are a very good size match with my 1/144 JS2s. I may check out the Pendraken T28 at some point to see how it compares

The Vickers Indelendent is available in resin from Fairy Kikaku, a Japanese garage kit manufacturer who proves that not all japanese resin kits are high quality!

The Indy is noticeably smaller than a T-28, even though my Indy is 1:144 and my T-28 are Pendraken...

I did find the Arrowhead 1:144 Marder III H (or whatever the mark was with the gun in the middle, the only mini I could find of that type) was a pretty near precise match in length & width with the PD Hetzer. Both surprisingly big...

Hello Wulf

Yes I have some Fairy Kikaku and I go cross-eyed at what the size of their rivets would be scaled up :). Just waiting on some orders from HLJ, where it says a 6 to 8 week delay, for 5 months :(. I will have a look at the Independent. I've found that FK can be variable in size - the Crossley fits in well with Pendraken but the Carden Loyd is a large small tankette :).

I am awaiting a set of 4 Sentinel tanks, while I attempt to make something decent out of the Porche Tiger (after slicing off the metal gun from an old model PD Tiger 1 and replacing that...)

The MS-1 teeny Russian tank is, as you say, a pile of rivets on tracks. I will attempt to give it a shave first...
