Sassanid slingers have undergone a bit of filing work, and are now rapidly turning into Rhodians, naffatun, and Carians.

More work on Tlaxcalans, just feathers and shields to go on main painting, after an enthralling evening painting weapons and headbands!

Today I get to box off the remaining Hanoverians, then it is on to dealing with the marshland pieces.

Yay, banners done on 8 husaria comrades, four more chaps nearly finished, just got to sort out a standard for them. Officer packs arrived today so 6 assorted infantry officers and musicians and 3 of the same for the husaria are all undercoated and will be ready to be started on tonight. Thursday evening means I get all evening to paint coz it's Physic Thursday and Ma Subs is glued to the telly-box.

Making up some ancient north Africans for a Numidian army. Should be an interesting change of opponent for the big ones in the area.

48 Tlaxcalan Warriors done and varnished since Monday; will get based tonight.

First unit of imitation legionaries for Numidians are painted and based. Front rank Newlines imperial auxiliaries, second rank Pendraken sub-Roman British militia. I think they'll pass muster, what with darker skin and Thanit or palm trees on the shields.

Still chugging along with the officers. Had the weekend off mostly because we went to stay with our son, his wife and our little granddaughter at their place near Enfield (Middlesex fro the geographically challenged). A great time was had by all, especially when our daughter, other son and Ma Sub's father turned up from Brum  -sneaky daughter in law and our daughter had arranged it all.
  Did a bit last night when we got back and will get more time tonight because there are more paranormal programmes on. Won't get any done tomorrow evening because it's the FA Cup replay between my team and some lot in red from Manchester and it's on normal telly! I'm going for a West Ham v Watford final.

Yep, same attitude here and I get told off for not being 'open-minded' enough. My attitude is if it's on the tv it's cr*p. Unfortunately others believe everything that's shown.
