Actually...this was for  fans of Fantasy and 'Dark Age' fiction. I had always thought that a sword forged from Meteoritic iron just might have had some superior qualities due to other elements also present...(I am no metallurgist!)...and authors certainly use 'Star Iron' for Heroic weaponry again and again!   =)

Along comes TMP with an article about a 'top-end' gun maker proposing to make fancy pistols from a meteorite...and guys 'in the know' point out that meteorites frequently contain something which causes the iron to turn to 'gloop'! This effect has become known as 'Lawrencite Disease'. Googled it...and this seems to be a real condition which really annoys rock collectors...a bit like 'lead rot' worries sane people.   :o

So...now, whenever I will read something along the lines of...'Viper fast, he drew 'Demon Bane', steel bright as the star's falling!'...I will be thinking..."It's gonna Droop! Yep! Definite wilt on there!"    ;)   :'(

Thank you, HH.

Now I follow. :)

Cheers - Phil

Tickle, Massage, Penetrate.

...from an advanced guide to ear-piercing  :D
(or not)

Only other (forum friendly) thing that came into my mind was what the actors might have been told on All Creatures Great & Small (Vet drama set in 1930-40s Yorkshire) on what to do before beginning calfing procedure with their hand and arm.
Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"
