I have a bit of a dilemma here chaps.

I absolutely bloody love these figures so that isn't the root cause, but I'm not enjoying painting them at all. This is squarely lay at the feet of me not being able to think of a decent colour scheme for them. So I'm throwing it out there to you guys for any suggestions etc?  :-\

I'm a big fan of lighter colours on those sculpts, so white or sky blue tunics with blue or red detailing on them?

I agree with Leon on the bright blue and white

My elves are a deeper blue with grey and terracotta. I have been recently thinking of painting some pale blue and grey which could look good and slightly ethereal?

http://www.2md.dk/gw-warmaster/images has pictures of a number of High Elf armies and might provide inspiration?

As the owner of Santa's Little Helpers I recommend red, gold & white :)

Hmmmmmm  :-\ ......I think I'd go with something along those lines, as well.

Crisp, bright blue and white is traditional, but I've seen some lovely High Elf armies painted in "Dark Elf" colours before. Rich red, purple and dark grey. Very Melnibonian!

How about a LOTR "Last Alliance" theme? Gold, silver, turquoise and royal blue?

That would look really good, too.

Just don't paint them. Problem solved.
