So, Went AWOL from the forum for a week, just to get some work done. It's amazing how much you can do when you ban the internet for a few days!


First up was a landing pad set from mantic games, i made the pad in a smaller configuration, and used the leftovers to 'lift it '. Found it more realistic when it's the highest point of a settlement.  Also, received last saturday, built and painted by friday!





Second, i finished my fencing formy acw games. Made from nothing but popsicle sticks and toothpicks. 50 bases of fences!








Really happy how they turned out, although it was a very dull subject 

Think i will make some barbed wire sections using the same technique!

I have some fine wire from the arts and craft section of a budget shop that i will try for straight wire, and a collection of springs from broken ball pens ,that i have been saving for the last couple of years ,for rolls of barbed wire.
