Sky Pilot are notorious for reasonable toy type diecast that fit the box -  in about every odd bin scale you can image.

Their WW2 fighter range is close to 1/100 or 15mm

That sounds very like Asda's "Tailwinds" series - there's some really good stuff across a variety of scales including a Chinook at "close enough" for 10mm scale (for me...)...
