Called Eglwyswrw. (Egg-Liss-Ooo-Roo)

It's roughly five miles, as the crow flies, from Techno Towers.
They haven't had a day without rain since October 25th.

Which almost certainly means it's been the same here.
No wonder it's seemed like permanent twilight for the past few months. :'( :'(

Cheers - Mr Muddy. (I slipped over in it, a few days ago......I said some very naughty words.  :D)

"40 days of rain? Och! We're up to 63 already. What a chancer!"

Seems the good people of Egg-roll-who-knew have the same problem.

We classify as a rain-forest some years, then.  X_X (Which doesn't count, I suppose.)

The year before we moved here, there was apparently eight feet of rain in the preceding twelve months.
I make that nearly 2,500mm.

Sheesh !

Cheers - Phil.

Wulf

AT least they got on the telly - BBC Breakfast covered it.

I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Thanks Ian.

I didn't think they'd quite made it, but hadn't heard officially.

I heard some (one ?) of the villagers saying that they didn't want the record.....But secretly, I think having got so close, they would have liked to break it.  ;)

Cheers - Phil

Fenton

I am sure they will get another chance to break the record
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
