I would like to throw in a suggestion, could Pendraken prime (perhaps with black spray) the figures that are photographed for the exmaple pics? Often the details are washed away with glare (lack of relief) and the product does not get its full credit. When pics are posted of the greens, this is not so much a problem [due to coloration] but, bare metal is too often a poor subject.

A while back Leon ran a poll showing options for photos on the sales web site, and bare metal washed with black was by far the clearest to see, and the most popular option. AFAIK this is how all new photos are taken, but there are probably plenty of old plain metal photos on the site. FWIW plain black figures photograph as badly as shiny silver ones.

Sorry to be late on the discussion.  :-[  I hadn't seen the previous poll or apparently the newer pics.

Fred, I have to politely disagree:

Leon

We put the options out there and the overwhelming preference was for the blackwash, which is what we use now on all of the website photo's and also the new releases each month.  There are a number of older photo's on the website, mostly in the Ancients and AWI categories, where the figures are bare metal.  These will get updated as we progress.
