Duckman

Hi I have been lurking here for some time.   I play mainly fantasy stuff using both my own rules and Warmaster

I have a real prediliction for animal based armies, I currently have Skaven, and Lizard armies for Warmaster.  

Its been some  of the more recent releases and comments that have drawn me out of my shell.  The Taurians look superb and will probably be next purchase along with some centaurs.

After paying that bill. I would be very interested in the suggested Duckman armies that so many of you are talking about. Thats really unusual and would really get me flapping.  I love the idea of ducks riding warbeavers.  - ( please make sure its a nice looking beaver)

Do you know when they will be hatched from Technos bench?  When they are I can see me raiding my nest egg

I think you could be right Phil. Hard to class yourself as a long time lurker after 24 hours
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

As for the opening offered by your beaver, don't know if it appeals, but perhaps we'd have to suck it and see?

No, chaps, Duckman isn't one of my many personalities split off and made whole. At least I don't think so. 12:45 am, I'd taken green green, polka dot, marshmallow and "Thursday afternoon in Dagenham", so I was probably asleep, so perhaps I'm sleep posting? Is that a thing?

I'm sure you won't be offended (it'll be like water off a ......  anyhoo), but I'm not really in to fantasy wargaming. Just swan of these things. Unfortunately. But as long as you are a good egg, Duckman, I'm sure you'll fit in well. Welcome.

Quack quack, quack quack, quack quack quack (I've no idea what it means but I have often heard ducks converse in such manner and, as there was no splashing, chasing or biting of tails, I can only think it was good quack crack). Quack quack quack, quackety quack?

Thanks for the welcome guys.

By lurking i mean I have been coming on to the forum and reading the posts for some time without being a member. I eventually decided to dive in properly when the Taurians were released. It was the mention of a Duck army that Techno is going to make that finally persuaded me to join the flock.

Yes I never know what colour of beaver I prefer,  a dark brown is more usual but I quite like the lighter ones and finding a relatively rare ginger beaver is on my bucket list.  But over all after a duck I think I just prefer beavers!
