I haven't managed to make any progress on this project over the last few days, too many domestic chores to catch up on :(

Last night I did manage to join in a division level ITLSU game the guys had started while I was away :) :D

Hopefully some painting today, but I wouldn't bet on it  :-S

I managed to get the base colour on the hedges and most of the buildings  :)

I felt really good to have a brush in hand after over a month of no painting :)

I made little progress on these buildings over the last week, first week back at work after a month off has been a little draining :(

Made much better progress on Saturday, buildings almost finished :)

Shrubbery and fences to finish painting then time to flock...

Had a look at the WWI figures Pierre the Shy dropped off in August :o and worked out what needs doing :!!
Basically a batch of Germans and a half batch of British. I will combine the British with my outstanding AWI as that will make a 'batch'

Shrubbery and fences painted :)

Will hopefully start on the flocking tomorrow night

Cleaned up and washed the two supply wagons (plus three spare Militia to make these mini-dioramas) and the 32 Native Americans, ready to go on painting rods :)
Also glued rear wheels on wagons and front wheels on axles

This half batch will go nicely with the half batch of WWI British and Indian artillery crew and mules I am painting for Pierre the Shy  ;) :)

Got the bare ground areas flocked last night :)
Will flock the grass areas tonight and put the new batch on painting rods

I also need to decide how to base up my remaining buildings :-\

Grass areas flocked last night :)

New batch sorted and on painting rods last night after work :)
Weather was good enough to undercoat them as well :) :)

Touched up flocking this morning :)

Weather held so buildings varnished as well :) :)

Will hopefully get to take some pictures before the forecast front arrives this evening. :-SS

Looking good!
Like the hedges too; sturdy and 'maintenance free' unlike some of the flocked stuff I use myself that tends to attract dust!

All the base colours done and the main dry brushing as well :)

Manes & tails done on horses :) Wagons, loads and cover done, details to add :)

Did quite a bit of juggling with the map for Guilford Couthouse, with some twisting and sliding it does fit on an 8x6 table :)

One thing I learnt from the Camden game was the need to make sure there was enough room to deploy all the troops. The map has every stand of troops shown so I am sure there will be room, just ;)

Looks remarkably like the terrain I was playing with last Wednesday, when I commanded a New Hampshire brigade.
