Oh dear... oh... dear...

Resolve broken, order to follow...

Well, I've been looking for cheap N gauge rail & trains anyway...

mart678

Already have given in and have some N gauge an Armoured train is possible you can make it with moulded wheels or a separate bogie which you can put n gauge wheels in so it would run

NeilCFord

Secured some GWR wagons last night too, and some N gauge corregated sheet to armour up the train. Next up, some replacement GWR decals.

ANyone have a good source of N gauge rail lines? Especially junctions/switches. Looks like those will cost more than the trains! I wanted to create a small rail yard, but the switches are way more expensive than I like for scenery...

Now to find cheap rolling stock to park on the lines...

You are 'on track' - can I recommend the Pendraken Boer war rolling stock - some useful wagons and bits and bobs.

You might find friendly model railwayers who have dead track that can't be cleaned up enough to roll - they're often willing to part with it for next to nowt ;)
I provide a cheap, quick painting service to get you table top quality figures ready to roll - www.facebook.com/jtppainting

I ordered some wagon chassis last night from Hattons. They will form  the basis for my armoured train. The plan is to have the train and tender, assault wagon, artillery wagon and two flat beds that can have some tanks on for mobile deployment. Ahead of this will run my little draisine. Happy days :)

Search 'n guage track'.  Plenty of choice on eBay.

Cant see a use for it, but very nice.

Neither can I to be honest, but I agree it's very nice.  Perhaps a 'Guns of Navarone' type skirmish game.

Yes, I found the second hand market is far more affordable. Strange how they lose so much value.
