Then the Pendraken is exactly the place for you, my dear fellow!   And mid nineteenth century is the period.  Pendraken ranges are awesome for 1866 and 1870, and nineteenth century battles don't come much bigger. Plus, this forum has more expertise on this period than you'll find anywhere else.  Welcome!
