Nothing serious really; spent the day cleaning mould lines and making minor repairs to some 28mm masters. Got though one set, about 30 figures, in seven hours. Really tedious mind numbing work. The problem is because they are masters there's three sets to do, so I've got two more days of this to look forward to. Just got me down a bit.

As part of the Cork garrison this Regiment was better equipped, taking the French supplied arms early, so I did the 1st Btn with a 5:1 ratio but thought he might not get away with it for so many men and did the 2nd Btn as a 2:1

Clanrickarde's Regiment



All of my Irish regiments will have an alternate flag stand so I can use them as Dutch in Flanders, but I wanted to do a less uniformed look with a few half pikes on one of them, Clanrickarde's was chosen. A poorly equipped unit, so I used all matchlocks for the firearms instead of a flintlock/matchlock mix.

When you look at the detail in each figure, the number of figures per unit and consider it's all in 10mm, it's quite staggering. Superb, Redstef!   :-bd
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
