Freikorps list both an Italian 10 and 6 pounder, on Napoleonic type carriages.

Had a look at the Baccus 6mm Piedmont reserve artillery model. It looks very similar to a French 12pdr of the period so I would go with that in 10mm

I agree. Googled some images of 1859 and found one of Italians removing a gun from the line. It was big with a brass tube and light blue-grey paintwork. Very similar looking to the French 12 pdr. I reckon we have found the proxy.
