Ooh Shiney!!

Are the new spiders and scorpions different from the old ones (other than the basing)?

Yep, completely new sculpts.  There's two poses of each, quite similar but subtly different, so you get a bit of variation in a pack of 3.  The tails on the Scorpions are separate as well, so you can alter the positioning on them.

Those look ace.

Will have to add a pack or two of the bats to my slowly growing list of things to get from Pendraken at Claymore in just over a months time!

Don't need giant spiders ... I've got dozens of giant spiders ... no really, I don't ... I mean what would I do with them ... they are nicely done though ... maybe one pack ....

...

....

Scorpions are tempting too ...............................................

As Leon has already said....'New sculpts'......From memory, (HAH !) They're a bit larger than the original ones, too.
The scorpions were inspired by a 'mongolian' scorpion...(I bought one encased in perspex, to copy  :D)...The spiders were 'based' on a wolf spider.
Hope that helps.

For those of you who want to know how much bigger Techno's 'boy' is, I would say about double the size!
Here's a quick comparison snap, will add this to my spider swarm base later! :)

Drop all your other painting and get on with those, Will. ;)
I want to see what they look like once they've been done. :)

If you want....You can paint them like red knee 'taranshlias', to give them a bit of colour ?
Just a thought.

Curious about why nobody ever does giant centipedes. They're aggressive, fast, creepy, very tough, and able to deliver an agonising poisoned bite; just what fantasy gamers dream of.

As you wish Techno. They will go on the table today.

Yeah, a 10mm scale version of the "Mice & Mystics" one would be good
