It'll be OK  ......The only anniversary we actually made an effort to remember was 'the silver'.....Apart from that one, we usually both realise another year has gone by, around a week late.
I'll make an effort to remember the 40th, though. 
There's so little in the way of food, that's unlikely to set her gall bladder off on one, I fear a 'nice meal' isn't really an option.
