To rebrand the Marathon as something resembling women's underwear (knickers) or a dirty laugh in the mode of Sid James seems to me to have been a stupid and arrogant thing to do, with no reference made to how the British public would view such a change. I presume it was originally named Marathon to imply its energy giving potential. Perhaps the Americans would like us to rebrand one of their favourite chocolate bars 'Mr.Johnson.'

Prices, well my painting isnt all that great but theyre painted, I'd like something around the bare metal price, but whatever seems reasonable to you.

Well just out of interest, how are the nappies based?

kustenjaeger

Certainly interested in knowing more - are we talking army packs here or some other content?

I also agree that knowing any basing would be useful.

Edward

GordonY

Nappies based for Song of Drums and Shakos Large Battles
WW II stuff based for BKC
WW I stuff based for If the Lord Spares Us
Sudan based for PoW
AWI based for British Grenadier
the rest based for Warmaster

rebasing shouldnt be a problem as theyre mostly stuck down with PVA, so a long soak and theyll fall of their bases.

that any help?

should be able to start posting some piccies tomorrow.

kustenjaeger

I look forward to the piccies.

The WWI may be tempting as I've got quite a few unpainted. The early WW2 and desert and Yorkists maybe.
