I see Mark1 Models have released several versions of the Westland Wessex which had a long innings in the RAF.

It was a robust chopper.  You could set it down hard and it bounced. The RAF got a long service out of them.

About 20,000 rivets flying in close formation. Will go well with  the Pendraken Centurion as both served in the same era.

Has anyone purchased one yet ? Let us know what you think of the kit.

Just remember in decals and markings that the AAC never flew them.  RAF and FAA service only.

I purchased a 'toy' aircraft carrier some years ago and bodged the superstructure to 1/150 - with view to a demo game, might now fit her up as HMS Bulwark and give those Pendraken paras a makeover - green lids.

Hmmm, I could use that as a US H-34, close enough. 

Now, if only I had some early-Vietnam War Marines with M-14s...

Nicely detailed model though it lack locating lugs to align the two fuselage halves. I just wish they had tooled their kit to make it possible to release a CH-34...
