So far this week:
I've had a Bank Holiday (extra Sunday)
A days planning release (extra non-day)
Wednesday teaching (Monday)
My school was closed as its a polling station today ( but staff still in school) (Saturday)
Tomorrow back to teaching (so, it's Monday, right?)

Messes with your head .... but in a good way!
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Starting last Saturday.

Day One - friends round gaming .... Saturday

Day Two - friends round gaming .... Saturday?

Day Three - Shopping, cooking, friend round in the evening ... clearly Saturday.

Day Four - Slept in, met a friend for coffee, pottered around town window shopping, out in the evening gaming ... must be Saturday

Day Five - Met a friend at the local shopping centre (bought essentials like wargames magazines and sandwiches for lunch), lunch, worked on a laptop upgrade then off to the cinema to see Far From The Madding Crowd, home for tea and some catch-up TV (Timewatch on Cleopatra) ... sounds like a Saturday.

Today - Slept late. Into the marriages, funerals and court appearances suit and off to a funeral :(  Three buses to get home, quite pleasant in the sunshine ... must be another Saturday.

No wonder us retirees never know what day it is! :)

I work shifts 12 days or 12 hour nights.

Get up - go to work , come home on same day.  go to sleep and get up the next day.

Whn on nights

get up - go to work, come home next day. Go to sleep, get up on same day, go to work

after 2 of my 7 consecutive nights I cant tell you what day it is.

Most weekdays, if the radio didn't tell me what day it was, I wouldn't have a clue.
The days just blur together.  ;)

Yes, exactly. I have taken to starting my day by asking my wife what day it is. Even worse, on short weeks like this she's a day behind too.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.
