this is one of those topics that we will look back in on 12 months time and go "yeah I did none of those...but look at this cool shiney thing here!!"

For next year Id love to finish my early Germans for FOW (10mm obviously :P) and my friends Russians so I have an opponent. Get at least one of my characters in WoW to lvl 85 before they up the lvl cap again and hopefully get back in doing freelance miniature photography as its been to long since my last work.

Plus theres the usual gym membership to be buy and all that other crap :) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

For WoW, the easiest (and laziest) way to get your char to lvl 85 is doing Archeology, crazy I know, but I was getting 100k xp a digsite (and the occasional epic), so if you cba doing those quests or running instances this is the way I got my huntard to 85 in 5 days. Best of luck.  ;D ;D

Well…I’m still in the early stages of my 10mm ACW project. So my plan is to focus on that for most of the year. I need about 300 stands of union infantry and 200 stands of confederate infantry done by July so I can re-fight 1st Bull Run around its anniversary date. I’m also hoping to do more gaming this year.

Right, here goes:

- Finally finish my WW2 US and German armies. But is there such a thing as a finished army?
- Get some more games played with these, as well.
- Paint (and play with) the dungeon I bought at Crisis. Maybe get some extra bits as well.
- Spend less time at the computer and more time painting. 2010 wasn't a bad year painting wise (for me, at least), let's see if it holds.
- Decide what I want to do with some of the (painted and unpainted) stuff that's been lying around for years.
- Marvel at Pruneau's display at Crisis 2011.  8)

Modest plans, I know, but I'd be happy enough if this works out alright.

In 10mm:

- paint my 10mm Western Desert forces and use for BKC II
- paint my SYW forces and add to them (I laid out my unpainted French on the table today and confirmed I'll need a lot more after they are painted)
- continue to round out my 1943 Ostfront forces as needed
- hopefully paint some of my 1870 figures
- maybe test out the forthcoming 1809 range

Other scales
- paint a couple of DBA 15mm armies
- finish painting a 15mm WW2 British for Normandy at 1:1
- paint 15mm Ghurkas for a Burma game in July
- paint some 28mm ACW for skirmishing
- add some 1/600 WW2 aircraft
- rationalise everything else I've got :-)

Regards

Mmmm..an interesting question.

To finish: -

- SYW Austrians & Prussians.
- Napoleonic French & Austrians (nearly there).
- WW2 Russians & Japanese.
- Warmaster Medieval French Ordonnance

To start: -

- Ancient Greeks, Britons & Romans. I have to get a warmaster ancients army completed this year, at least.
- SYW French.

....and I'm not going to try and deny it.....buy a lot more miniatures this year. "Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose" :D

Sell my 28mm British Naps, I spent some time over Christmas finishing off their bases , replacing flags and generally making them tempting.  They should generate sufficient cash to kep me in 10mm lead until the summer.

10mm projects are finish the 7YW French (only about 6 battalions of infantry to go) then the Prussians, with a bit of luck I might be playing by this time next year. =)

In between I need to roll out a lot more WW1 French infantry.

My big Resolution is to paint everything I already have before buying anything else - and then go crackers on WW2 10mm.  I might just have to buy a few samples though.........
