Didn't dare to look directly at the eclipse so the pic much appreciated, Dan. Good pic. 

Total non-event down here. It went a bit gloomy, like the build-up to a big storm, but that was it.

My office looks over the Travelodge. My experience of the eclipse was sitting at my desk being aware that every now and then a large, bald, naked man would peer through the curtains of his hotel room before disappearing again for a few moments. At one point he wore a t-shirt, but at his next appearance he was again as the day he was born.

I think he may have been very excited to witness the eclipse.
