Patience? Not sure I'm with you there, you'll have to explain.

The hardest part is the sheer workload - receiving the last emailed order, normally on a Thursday, and then getting it all set to publish on the Saturday. It's too short an amount of time, if I'm honest. If I ran a future game, or was to offer advice on running such, it would be give yourself at least twice the amount of time that you originally thought you'd need to get it ready to publish.

Patience waiting to see how the next turn goes; I'd be on the phone for the next move 

I played Play By Mail games for a decade so am used to waiting, in some cases near a month, for games to proceed to the next turn.

As a player it may be infuriating for them. I don't know and I won't ask in case they tell me to hurry up. But as the games master, the workload means that I've had enough of it by midday Saturday to happily ignore it till the next Thursday; when I start collecting the various emails it's generated during the week and having to do all the hard work all over again.
