Snow? ya want snow?  Take ours, please.  3 feet before the last 'thaw', 2 feet now and more on the way.  Sub zero all day every day, I don't want to know what happens to the temperature after dark.  British Gas will be paying good dividends next year. :'(

Well it was dashed chilly this morning whilst feeding the horses. I didn't muck them out as it was frozen solid :(
The car temp gauge said it was -9 at 09:45 so was a bit colder last night. It will by hypothermic tonight when I have to sort out the Turkeys.
Sometimes I wonder - why is that frisbee geting bigger - and then it hits me!

Spare a thought for my wee brother; he's one of those stuck at Heathrow. Looking like he may not get home for Christmas at the minute  :(

I have a colleague who is trying to get home to Iran:  his connection would be through Heathrow.  I'm not sure if he will make it  - he could be in Toronto for a while.

They mentioned earlier that one of the terminals had reopened at Heathrow, no idea which one though?   :-\

It is probably some Kafka-esc performance art where people start rumors that another terminal is open, but never the one you are in.

Of course, if you gave every trapped passenger a shovel and a bag of salt you would have the thing going again in a couple of hours.

Now there's an idea!  Discounted flights for a bit of labour.
