Matt seems to have brought his elephants in from another dimension, and then shrunk them after painting. :D. But. WOWOWOWOW!

Anyone actually met him, I think he's only 10mm tall and uses a 2" brush ;)
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

I uploaded my Russian tanks. Nothing special having such a high level in the competition (the Nam chopper and Matt's Elephants are winners) but I like to participate and support this fantastic initiative of a 10mm painting competition.
Good luck to all and have fun!

French officers picnicking - excellent.

"Excuse me sir, I'm a little lost; have you seen any picnickers?"

"What's that my dear?"

"Picnickers, have you seen any picnickers?"

"No dearie, and anyway, you shouldn't have taken them off."

2018 Painting Competition - Runner-Up!

OldenBUA

I've been sitting on the fence for quite a few years, but this year I've decided to join as well. Nothing special, so it's all about the participation for me.

Best of luck to all contestants, and a good dose of the various pills to all the judges. They will need them!

P.S. Phil, could you look at my entry first thing in the morning? Every little helps, you know.  :P

OK, so...I thought i'd just say a couple of things.

1.  The standard of painting each year gets better and better.

2.  I do not envy the task ofthe judges this year.  There are lots of winners already submitted.  Picking 'the one' looks like an impossible task to me.

Well done everyone!   =D>

Okay, that's an entry in every category except 20th Century Foot.
Sticking by my rule of 'It has to be painted in February'.
I can relax in the certain knowledge I won't win a thing! :D

I can't believe that people can paint such small models so well, the standard of entry is so incredibly high. I think I need to work on my technique and get some new eyes.

No, you're great; they're all in the wrong.  It's the only way I can motivate myself to pick up a brush  :D
