As well as the rules and gaming accessories, we have also now released our first two revamped Fantasy ranges, with the Goblins and the Hill Dwarves now available!

These new ranges are huge improvements on the old ones, adding not only new sculpts but also more variety to every pack.  So much variety in fact, that a pack of foot now contains 25 individual figures, each one different to the last.  From different weapons and headgear, down to added cloaks, beards and pouches, we've gone for maximum variation within every single pack!

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

Cracking looking figures, very nice indeed. :-bd

Steeleye

An improvement on the old figures...but, I always thought that the old Goblins looked pretty good anyway.

I notice you haven't shown any 'shooters', I'm going to assume that the Goblin shooters are armed with proper bows and not the short bent sticks of old.

Looking forward to seeing the new Amazons as well once you get around to redoing them.

Now all I've got to do is find the money to pay for these new armies!

Techno

Hi Steeleye.

The bows are all re-done...Don't think there are the new ones shown on the Pendraken site yet, though.
Pretty sure Luddite's Blog had pics of the new ones.

Having received the Goblin and Hill Dwaves army packs I can say they really do look rather nice.    :-bd

Steeleye

Goodie! Proper bows.

Since this morning I'm thinking 'Human Barbarian' army...mixture of 'Barbarians' and Amazons, plus Mammoths!

Oh the expense!

Use some of the sabot bases 8)

On that subject, LLeon, are you going to produce Warmaster cavalry sabots?

As I said earlier those triangular sabot bases look great

Any chance of a photo Leon?

Were those not 40x30's?

Of them in use, or just the lasered product?  The bare wood doesn't look much different to the graphic on the website to be honest!

Yeah, some Warmaster units have wierd '20x40' basing don't they?  (20mm wide, 40mm deep).

That always annoyed me.  Not as much as the DBx basing debacle but still.  I was a GW store manager when Warmaster first hit the shelves* and the 'behind the scenes' view was basically it was a sop to the bigger figures like chariots and monsters.  They wouldn't fit on a 40x20 base. so 20x40 it was.

* remember despairing at a new staff member who i'd instructed to pain the store's High Elf army 'in standard colours', only to see him roll up two days before release with an army painted red and gold.  Waaagghhh!!!  Two nights of frantic painting ensued.  The bases were still wet when the store opened.

You need 60x40 hole or just three 40x20 longways if my maths is right. The same for artillery I think

There was an errata in Warmaster ancients for using your pike and heavy cavalry units the normal way
