Very very nice work

Mine can be seen here http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,10663.msg140784.html#msg140784

I notice the infantry is from 158th Brigade, the same Brigade I am doing ;) Do you by any chance know what the unit flashes / patches are for the battalions in the brigade, particularly 1/1st Herefordshire and 1/7 RWF?

My understanding is that the red W was the divisional sign for 53rd Division in WWII, in WWI it used the three feathers of the Prince of Wales

I assume the cavalry on the left are Australian Light Horse, I am interested in any source for the white feathers  :-\
My understanding was they were emu feathers so a grey/brown colour.

Again, very very nice work, please excuse my "button counting" but I am working on these units at the moment ;) ;D

I have had no luck finding battalion flashes/patches.  I would like to put something on the helmets.

I'll have to look into the 53rd division again.

Cavalry in the photos are Australian Light Horse.  I may tone down the feathers and chop them off for the New Zealanders.

Thanks

I have managed to find the following for 158th Brigade, the info on the Herefordshire battalion I got from the curator of their museum

1/5 RWF white / black
1/6 RWF red / black
1/7 RWF ?
1/1 Hereford green / black

On the hat these are rectangles divided horizontally, black at the top. On the shoulders rectangles divided vertically, black to the front

Definitely no feathers for the Kiwis, careful taking the feathers off I managed to accidentally behead one figure  :(

Again very nice figures and good clear informative labels, what rules do you use?
