I would suggest a plank isn't such a good rider :)

I've met a few planks in my time...I prefer Khwarizmians. They were around not long before the end of the Ayyudbids and Abbasids. Think Persian and you are reasonably close.

My very old and tatty 15mm Huns do have some mongols as their heavy cavalry. Rest are huns - old minifigs(3 on a plank type) and Mikes Models.

Actually Now I come to think of it...having done some re-enactment riding... I have met a number of planks who are good riders... therefore I  stand corrected
