Blimey, my next project will be opposing armies in the AWI range, just had a look at what Pendraken were offering, awesome guys, what a range, can't wait to get started, I'll need to brush up on my history of the uniforms of the period but certainly drooling at the prospect, dunno the difference in the uniforms yet, something about the 1768 warant I need to research

it is indeed a wonderful range and there are a number of threads with some inspirational painting and also my AWI project thread  ;)

What rules are you thinking of using, which part of the war?

I was going to go with Black powder, I like the classic tricorn look, didn't want to go down the Saratoga route yet. Expecting some wee men soon, certainly looking forward to painting the woods Indians as I've never painted these before, I know there's very little need for them in the AWI but they're so pretty

Should I expand the SYW to the colonies I would definitely go down the Woodlands Indians road. I find that period more engaging than AWI. Having said that I'm about to start watching Turned on Prime.

Sorry, it's Turn, not Turned, and it's about Washington's spies in the AWI.
