Crossing a river to capture a number of objectives or until the morale points ran out  :)

Absolutely brilliant! Super figures and great terrain.

All it needs now is a report on the battle .... hint, hint  ;)

Haha. We started at 1400 points per side for both sides. The defender owned 5 Objectives that had to be defended or conquered. The Defender owning all the Objectives received 1 Victory point per turn until he lost the first one for the first 8 turns. Each player lost a VP every turn. Each player received 50 pts reinforcements (RP) per turn and can exchange a VP for 100 RP. We played the Pike & Shotte rules by Warlord. The Defender dug in across the river and the Attacker started on the table a foot from the edge.

We, the Attackers, rolled mostly failures and blunders for the first 4 turns or so. The most damage we did the Defender was having him blow up two guns by rolling double 1s.....Then we decided to go for broke and exchange all our RP and bought large pike blocks. We threw all of them against the town on our left flank, but despite fierce fighting we failed to dislodge them from the built-up area.

In the middle I charged all my foote battalia and cavalry across the river and broke two hedgehog formations, one of them by a desperate massive cavalry charge where my Finns (Haaka Paale!) were decimated but still carried the fight, capturing one Objective! On the right Ivo's pikemen and halberdiers dislodged the Defender from another Objective. A cavalry countercharge by the Defender's cavalry reserve in the center was thrown back by my cavalry, regrouping just in time. We then decided to call it a day. Great game!

Most excellent, and good to hear the Hakkapeliittas did well! Hakkaa päälle!
Which rules are you using?

We use Warlord Games' Pike & Shotte rules.

Some of the buildings look like the very small ones from Brigade Models.
