After a more careful search of the Pendraken forum, I did find a picture that Leon uploaded for an earlier thread:-

This all started by looking at WW1 Rugga Rugga and deciding that I could use these as Malay pirates/tribesmen:-



Then looking at a schooner on Aliexpress and wondering what I could arm it with for earlier periods, hence the need for naval guns.

Now I'll have to trawl through the Ancient/Medieval ranges and see what I can use for non-firearm Malays.

Well at least we all got to see a ?pdr Naval Gun.  :)  What era / war are we talking about now?  :-/ :-\ :-/

Well originally I was looking at pulp/interwar (for which I'll still be using the Rugga Rugga/pseudo Malays) and then my thinking expanded to 16C/17C. I made a range of Indonesian/Malays in 15mm and always had a lot of fun zipping around the East Indies with Portuguese, Dutch, etc. The beauty of an Indonesian/Malay army is that you can use the bulk of figures (non-firearm) to cover from 12C to 20C  :D.

Plus the fact that I've just tracked down a reasonably priced Revell 1/144 Chinese Junk, I've also got left over elephants from my very old 10mm range and it all seems to point that way  :D.
