I think it proves the opposite - Xmas songs, in some number, are awesome. Christopher Lee is awesome. Combine them both for AWESOME++!

I'm never going to see Christopher Lee in the same light again after that. 

He's done a couple of albums - they are *very* metal! I'm past the days of really enjoying exceptionally shouty metal (although Motorhead were awesome the other week), but they're actually pretty good if you like that sort of thing.
