Cheers all.

I'm also going to be painting up some Pendraken Zulus for this Painting Challenge (using some more Minibits' bases) and hopefully I can then enter them into this forum's painting comp' next year, if one's being held.

Some more 25mm Circular MDF bases bought at the Battleground Show - although Warbases are donating a prize to the Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge I do keep plugging your MDF bases on the posts that I make during the Challenge.

Thanks everyone.  :)

Those two Ironclad figures were some of the items I bought from them at Battleground, in fact.
I'm going to go and dig out those 10mm Zulus I've got somewhere and begin putting some paint on them, then I can actually post some of your own models on here and over on the Challenge blog.

Roy

Cheers Techno.

I'm going to post these here, since there's only two models. Again, they've been entered into the Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge, and here's the link:

Or, here's the link for them on my blog:

Anyway, promoting out the way, the photo's -

I had great fun painting these and am planning on creating something for the Lion Rampant rules (so Leon, expect an order from me in January, asking if I can come and collect from Pendraken HQ if possible).

Also, thanks everyone for commenting on my work. It's most appreciated.

They're excellent, Roy. Full of character - which is very difficult on small figures.  :-bd

Those are superb. Really really great looking figures. Wonder how many will appreciate they are 10mm in the competition?

Roy

Thank you both.

So far everyone who's left a comment on the post has appreciated that they're 10mm - one gentleman referred to them as "tiny blobs" so he definitely appreciates the scale (though not the sculpts)  :)

No, they've been well received and a couple of people have mentioned an interest in 10mm for future purchases, so I'll keep banging "Pendraken Miniatures" into posts and they should come to Leon  ;D

My plugging of Pendraken MDF bases might just be working, if today's development on the Challenge's website is any indication.

http://thepaintingchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

You'll all notice the huge advertising for another companies MDF bases [they're sponsoring a specific days of blogging, it seems]

Brilliant! I'm Don Draper. Now where's my saucy secretary?! ;D ;D

Another Minibits' base being being put to good use:

Still working on this - I think I've been too generous with the battle damage to the shield? Maybe just a slash! Anyway, I've asked a few people I know who are up on these things, so I'll no doubt find out soon.

Lovely bit of work Roy ;)

Personally, I like the shield damage; you've done it really well.
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.
