World War One British helmets- and indeed other helmets.

I can figure out the sand bag cover - but in this scale, what is the best paint for the plain British helmet ?

I use Vallejo Russian Green on mine, with a light drybrush of GW Catachan Green. Everything is then given a diluted wash of GW Devlan Mud. Hope this helps?

I use Vallejo Russian Uniform Green (924), a wash of Games Workshop Agrax Earthshade then dry bush with the Russian Uniform Green again
